Ramailo Nepali

Ramailo Nepali is a child-friendly Nepali Language Learning Program catered to 6 to 10-year olds, and aims to teach basic conversational Nepali. The sessions are highly interactive with small groups of six students, with two facilitators per group.

 

The language learning will take place through engaging activities designed by seasoned educators from Rato Bangala School featuring Meeting Messages, Read-Alouds of curated high-quality Children's Literature, Themed Conversations, Time for alphabets, Songs and Poems in Chhanda(छन्द), Virtual Energizers, Journal Writing and assignments to practice the skills introduced. Reading and writing material, video links and picture cards will be provided online so that the students can practice at home.

The lessons will cater to the language levels of the students in the group. In addition, the books that will be read and the conversation surrounding surrounding them will teach the students about Nepal as well.Language and culture are

closely connected, and a better understanding of all things Nepali will aid the students in learning Nepali in a fun, memorable way. Towards the end of the program, there will be a culminating session where students will share what they have learnt.

  • DURATION:
    The first part of the program is for four weeks and interested students can carry for another four weeks for a more advanced level of  learning Nepali.
     

  • DATES:
    The first four week session will begin in mid of December, 2021. The weekend classes extends to a span of 3 months.
     

  • TIMINGS:
    9:30 AM EST(7:15 PM Nepal Time)
    8:30 AM PST(9:15 PM Nepal Time)
     

  • FEES:
    The total fees for the four-week program is $299 per student. Payments will be accepted via bank transfer to Rato Bangala Kitab.
     

  • :STEPS TO REGISTER

    • Kindly, please fill our Ramailo Nepali Registration form. This form will help us understand and group your child.

    • Make the online payment through bank transfer and email us the proof of payment at kitab@ratobangala.edu.np as soon as possible. Since,we have limited seats, we will register children on First come first basis.
